Positions Available

Private Provider Services / Code Compliance Inspector and Plan Reviewer – Building 

Locations: Fort Myers, Tampa, Miami, and Delray Beach, FL

Job Summary:

  • Perform site inspections for new and existing construction to ensure compliance with building codes and regulatory requirements.
  • Review building permits, plans, and completed projects to verify adherence to approved specifications.
  • Collaborate with contractors, engineers, architects, and homeowners to ensure proper documentation for permits and licenses.
  • Identify and enforce code violations, issuing written notices and conducting re-inspections to ensure compliance.
  • Maintain knowledge of current building codes and regulations, attending continuing education courses and effectively communicating with all stakeholders.

Requirements: Certified General Contractor, Architect, or Engineer in the State of Florida, Building Inspector and Plans Examiner license in the State of Florida required. Building Inspector and Plans Examiner certification in the State of Florida and Miami-Dade County required.

  • Review mechanical, plumbing, or electrical permits, plans, and completed projects to verify adherence to approved specifications.

Staff Engineer

Locations:  Miami, Broward County, Palm Beach, FL

Job Summary:

Perform site visit inspections involving the following structural elements, site civil work and scheduling coordination.
  • Ability to read/understand project plans and specifications.
  • Report data in a complete, timely, and understandable fashion.
  • Complete daily reports in accordance with company policy.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and policies.
  • Perform Material Testing as required along with reviewing technician reports.
  • Collects and prepares data for evaluation.

 

Requirements: 1- 3 years of related Engineering experience/ Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering preferred. E.I. (Engineering Intern) license or BN Structural License; preferred, but not required.

Environmental Project Manager

All Locations

Job Summary:

  • Manage and execute Phase I and Phase II ESA projects with a focus on compliance and quality.
  • Oversee timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Provide expertise in soil, groundwater, sediment, and air sampling procedures.
  • Collaborate across teams to deliver multi-disciplinary project solutions.
  • Engage in business development activities, including client management and proposal development.

 

Requirements:1-5 yrs experience, EIT and Master’s in Civil Engineering preferred.

Geotechnical Department Manager

All Locations

Job Summary:

  • Provide geotechnical expertise, including foundation recommendations, ground improvement solutions, and excavation strategies.
  • Lead and manage a talented team of engineers and subsurface exploration professionals.
  • Oversee field investigations, geophysical testing (like GPR), and project budgets.
  • Collaborate on multidisciplinary projects and prepare proposals, reports, and plans.
  • Engage in business development to build client relationships and drive growth.

 

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred) with a focus on Geotechnical Engineering. PE license preferred, with 8+ years of geotechnical engineering experience.

Department Manager

Locations: Fort Myers, FL / Tampa, FL

Job Summary:

  • Responsible for work assigned to the Department regarding professional liability and contractual obligations. Ensure that all technical work meets the standard of care.
  • Deal directly with clients and prospective clients in business development, proposals, contracts or agreements, and technical matters.
  • Provide guidance, training, and instruction to subordinates in regulatory, technical, and administrative aspects of environmental, geotechnical, or construction materials testing consulting.
  • Plan Branch strategy in conjunction with Managers to meet Company goals.
  • Responsible for the profitability of projects assigned to the Branch.

Requirements: Strong leadership and management skills. Proven experience in business development, contract management, and client relations.
